This extraordinary 5oz silver proof rose gold gilded coin showcases one of Australia's best-known native marsupials - the koala.

Sleepy and docile, koalas spend most of their time either resting or eating gums leaves among Australia's eucalyptus forest.

The coin's reverse portrays a koala perched in a eucalyptus tree, holding a leafy branch in its mouth surrounded by native foliage.

Included on the reverse are the inscriptions 'KOALA' and The Perth Mint's 'P' Mintmark, as well as the coin's weight, purity and 2026 year-date.
