2025 50c Year of the Snake Tetradecagon Coin & Stamp Cover PNC.
Limited mintage of just 7,000 covers.
The enigmatic Snake is the 6th animal in the 12-year cycle, and previous Snake years include 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001 and 2013.
Those born in a Snake year tend to be intuitive, introverted, sympathetic and wise, with a tendency to become jealous and suspicious.
Snakes are most compatible with those born under the Ox, and Rooster and least compatible with the Tiger and Pig.
In 2025, lucky numbers for Snakes are 2, 8 and 9, lucky colours are black, red and yellow and the lucky flower is the orchid or cactus.
Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated cupro nickel coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.
The coin's reverse portrays a snake wrapped around a orchid plant.
The coin obverse bears the Daniel Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, the 2025 year-date and the monetary denomination.
Fixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.50 Christmas Island stamp which is post marked First Day of Issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
