2026 $2 Stranger things - Villains 2oz Silver Antiqued Coloured Coin 

Created by Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things debuted in July 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix' most popular television series ever.

Rooted in 80's nostalgia, it has sparked resurgence of pop culture items from the decade with every new season, including Eggo waffles and New Coke.

Most recently, the series breathed new life into Kate Bush's track "Running Up That Hill" with the song soaring streams on Spotify and entering the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in its 38-year history.

The series has also gathered over 70 awards worldwide including Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and has been nominated for over 230 awards. 

Things fans everywhere celebrate November 6 - the day Will Byers went missing - as 'Stranger Things Day', a special day to share their love for the world of Stranger Things.

The coin's coloured reverse showcases Vecna levitating, with eight tentacles extending from his body,

The design includes two Demogorgons in the eerie Upside Down world, complete with demobats and flashes of lightning streaking across the night sky.

The design includes the 'STRANGER THINGS' logo along with The Perth Mint's 'P' Mintmark.

The coin's obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2026 year-date.

The coin is housed in a classes display case with a clear lid. Packaged within an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.9% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,500 of the 2025 Stranger Things Antiqued Coloured Coins.

The coin's obverse has been individually 'antiqued' to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artefact. As a result of this treatment, the appearance of each coin in the mintage may vary.
