2025 $1 Year of the Snake Rotating Charm 1oz Silver Antiqued Coin.

This 1oz silver antiqued coin is an excitingly innovative release featuring  central gold-plated rotating charm in the shape of the sixth animal in the ancient Chinese lunar calendar, the Snake.

In 2025 the lunar calendar marks the Year of the Snake. Wise, intelligent and charming, the snake is said to bestow many positive characteristics on people born during its years of influence - including 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965 and 1953.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 3,000 of the Year of the Snake Rotating Charm 2025 1oz Silver Antiqued coins.

The reverse incorporates a rotating gold-plated sterling silver bead resembling the form of a snake. It is surrounded by a representation of two snakes among stylised foliage. As well as The Perth Mint's 'P' Mintmark, the reverse also includes the coin's weight and fineness.

Each coin's obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the coin's monetary denomination and the 2025 year-date.

Each coin has been individually 'antiqued' to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artefact. As a result of this treatment, the appearance of each coin will vary.

Each coin is housed in a grey display case, with stylised shipper and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
