2024 $1 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Leonardo 1oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin

This official licensed 1oz silver proof coloured coin spotlights Leonardo, the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, four pizza-loving brothers who were transformed into crime-fighting superheroes by ‘mutagenic ooze’.

Leonardo is a role model for Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, his younger siblings. The wisest and most responsible of the brothers, he is highly focused on training. Leonardo’s speed and agility make him an exceptional fighter, especially in hand-to-hand combat.

The coin portrays Leonardo busting through a brick wall with city buildings in the background. The coloured graphic highlights his blue eye mask and signature weapons - a pair of katana swords. Also included is the inscription ‘LEONARDO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Struck by the Perth mint from 1oz 99.9% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo 2024 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coins.

The coin’s obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is one of eight TMNT character coins scheduled for release. Each piece comes in a presentation box and shipper which can be stacked together to form a city scape scene.
