The Chinese Zodiac is a cycle of 12 years, with each year represented by an animal and its corresponding characteristics.

In 2024, Lunar New Year falls on 10 February and is the Year of the Dragon - the fifth animal in the 12-year cycle.

In recognition of Lunar New Year, the Royal Australian Mint launched its Lunar Investment Series. The Year of the Dragon is the Fifth release in this series.
