2024 $1 ANZAC Day Uncirculated Coin in Card.

Anzac Day falls on the 25th April  each year, the day Australian and New Zealand troops landed on the Gallipoli peninsula in 1915. Since 1916, it has been dedicated to commemorative activities honouring the courage and sacrifice of the first ANZACs during World War I and all succeeding Defence Force personnel who have served in times of war and other operations.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.

This coin has an unlimited mintage.

The reverse of the coin portrays a representation of a war memorial, a place for people to gather and remember those who have served and died as a result of war. Set against a waterway among hills, the obelisk is surrounded by two flags, both at half-mast.

Also included in the design is a motif representing a torch and an eternal flame, the inscriptions "25 APRIL and LEST WE FORGET" and the 2024 Year-date Perth Mint's 'P125' Mintmark signifying The Perth Mint's 125th Anniversary.

The coin's obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty Kind Charles III and the monetary denomination.

Each coin is presented in a specially designed display card, which features a fold-out stand for upright display.
