2023 Poppies of Remembrance Limited Edition Medallion & Stamp Cover PNC.During World War I, the red poppy was abundant in the fields of the Western Front, as well as in 'Poppy Valley' on the Gallipoli Peninsula, and this flower soon became an evocative symbol of remembrance for the service and sacrifice of those in the armed forces.While the red poppy is closely linked to Remembrance Day and Anzac Day, it is not the only poppy of remembrance.
