2023 NRL Premiers Penrith Panthers Edition Medallion & Stamp Cover PNC

The Penrith Panthers achieved a historic milestone in the NRL grand final by staging a thrilling comeback, securing their third consecutive championship, a feat not seen in 40 years.

They clinched a heart-pounding 26-24 victory over the Brisbane Broncos, etching their names in the annals of rugby league history.

Early in the second half, Penrith seemed on the brink as Ezra Mam's remarkable display saw the Broncos surge from an 8-6 deficit to a commanding 2408 lead within a mere 10 minutes. 

However, with just 18 minutes left in the match and trailing 24-8, Nathan Cleary orchestrated a stunning turnaround. He not only set up two crucial tried for Leota and Crichton but score-leveling try and ultimately converting this at the 78th minute, giving Panthers an amazing com-from-behind win. This remarkable performance earned him his second Clive Churchill Medal.

The Panthers' triumph now places them alongside the legends of rugby league, marking the first time since Parramatta in 1983 that a team has achieved a three-peat, solidifying their status as one of the sport's all-time greats.
