2023 $1 Disney 100th Anniversary - Mickey Mouse Coin & Stamp Cover PNC.The Perth Mint has just released this stamp and coin cover celebrating 100 Years of Disney featuring Mickey Mouse.For decades, Mickey Mouse has been the most recognized and popular of the world's cartoon characters. The loveable and indomitable Mickey made his debut in the 1928 short Steamboat Willie. Always the underdog, Mickey overcomes larger-than-life adversity through quick with and a can-do spirit, despite being small and vulnerable. As its most famous character Mickey serves as the mascot of The Walt Disney Company and in 1978 the first cartoon character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.The stamp and coin cover features an illustrated envelope featuring Mickey Mouse.
