2022 $1 Merry Christmas Coin & Stamp Cover PNC.

The Perth Mint along with Australia Post have just released this stamp and coin cover which features a colourful Christmas coin.

Each Christmas, families and friends gather to celebrate the festive season and the fun and trappings that it brings. It is a time of sharing with others, the giving of gifts, and a chance to reflect on events of the year as it slowly draws to a close. 

Tinsel and bright lights decorate Christmas trees and homes, setting the scene for excited children as they look toward Christmas day and much anticipated surprises.

The stamp features a star motif, and the words of greeting are presented in both the stamps and the colourful Christmas coin.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.

Each coin features star shapes in colour. Included in the design are the words 'JOY' & 'MERRY CHRISTMAS', and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark.

The coin's obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2022 year-date and the monetary denomination.

Fixed to the envelope is are 2 official Australia Post 65c stamps which is post marked First Day of Issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
