2021 50c Supercars Holden VT Commodore Coin & Stamp Cover PNC.

With younger teammate Craig Lowndes nipping at his heels in Holden Racing Team, Marke Skaife had something to prove in 2000 - despite already having two ATCC wins under his belt.

The pair drove the VT- the first iteration of the third-generation Commodore - which was longer and wider than the VS and had a large 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 455kW of power.

Ultimately, it was Skaife who was able to secure the overall title win and break Lowndes' three-peat attempt, with Lowndes then defecting to Ford at the end of the season.

Interestingly, 2000 was also the start of Skaife's own successful three-peat campaign, taking out the championship from 2000 to 2002.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated cupro nickel coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.

The stamp and coin cover features an illustrated envelope featuring the 2000 Holden VT Commodore. It also includes an Australian $1.10c commemorative stamp and is post marked First Date of Issue 19 January 2021, Bathurst NSW 2795.

The coin's obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date and the monetary denomination.
