2020 50c Supercars 1971 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1 Coin & Stamp Cover PNC.

After his back-to-back title wins in 1962 and 1963, Melbourne businessman Bob Jane had to wait eight years for his next win.

The tyre magnate knew he needed something spectacular - and imported a US Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1 with a mammoth all-alloy 7.0-litre V8 engine that boasted more than 450kW of power and 900Nm of torque.

The Camaro ZL-1 was the pinnacle of Chevrolet high performance and was so rare that only 69 were ever produced.Sporting an intimidating bonnet design and requiring remarkable control, the bright orange two-door coupe completely overwhelmed the 5.0-litre Mustang of pre-season favourite Allan Moffat and led Jane to take out the 1971 ATCC title.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the uncirculated cupro nickel coin is housed in a beautifully designed card with a circular window revealing the coin's reverse and obverse designs.

The stamp and coin cover features an illustrated envelope featuring the 1971 Chevrolt Camaro ZL-1. It includes a commemorative Australian $1.10c stamp featuring Australia and is post marked First Date of Issue 23 November 2020, Bathurst NSW 2795.

The coin's obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year-date and the monetary denomination.
