Her desire to win could be more appropriately described as a refusal to lose, and when challenged by the gallant, fast finishing Humidor, she truly saved her best until last - a late surge capping off a stunning final furlong which saw Winx again victorious, breaking her own Cox Plate race record in the process.

It was a phenomenal run that had everything - not least her intimidating turn of foot and sheer resilience, in front of a crowd who had eyes for just one horse. 

For her trainer Chris Walker and jockey Hugh Bowman, having lived with the weight of expectation since the moment she left the field in her wake 12 months earlier, this was perhaps the most special of them all - the day the Queen joined the Kind in Australian sporting immortality.

Fixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.00 commemorative WINX stamp which is post marked First Day of Issue and the envelope includes Australia Post's Seal of Authenticity.
