The Perth Mint and Australia Post will release on 2nd November 2011 the final release in this adorable series featuring iconic baby animals.

This coin and stamp cover features an irresistible image capturing the innocence, curiosity and gentle playfulness of a beautiful baby kangaroo.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coin is housed in a beautifully designed card which fits inside a similarly illustrated envelope with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

In this outstanding design, Elise Martinson portrays a beautiful little kangaroo joey.

 The cute marsupial is set against a background of native flowers and foliage.

The design includes the kangaroo's insect friend and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
