Struck by The Perth Mint this $1 commemorative coin features an ox and a calf standing on grass.
The inscription reads 'Year of the Ox' and the Chinese character for 'ox' and the famous 'P' mintmark.
The themed envelope includes a $1.65 and 55c stamp from Australia Post's Christmas Island Lunar New Year Series and are postmarked 8 January 2009.
