The Royal Australian Mint's Land Series will finish in 2009.

To conclude the series The Bilby and Frilled Neck Lizard will be the final releases. 

The bilby is an endangered species.This marsupial has poor eyesight but and excellent sense of smell.

These tiny creatures are slowly becoming extinct, the sales of the chocolate 'Easter Bilbies' are helping preserve this vulnerable species. Struck from aluminium bronze and housed in a full colour pack, this $1 coin is a fantastic addition to any collection.
