2008 $1 Australia's Coat of Arms S Counterstamp Coin in Card

This is the latest release in the Royal Australian Mints very popular $1 counterstamp series.

Commemorating a significant historical event the S Counterstamp pays tribute to Australia's Original Coat of Arms, marking the 100th Anniversary.

The coin depicts a kangaroo and emu supporting the shield. The shield shows the St George Cross and above the shield is a seven-pointed star, each point represents each State of the Commonwealth and the seventh point the Commonwealth Treasuries.
