2008 $1 100 Years of Australian Coat of Arms B PrivymarkFollowing the release of the 'S' Privy mark in April, the Royal Australian Mint has released the 'B' Privy mark (previously referred to as 'B' Brisbane mintmark).Which will continue to celebrate the Centenary of Australia's Original Coat of Arms.The Mint has introduced the term 'Privy Mark' to coins that are struck using a die that has been modified to include a letter commemorating the special release or event.The release of the 2008 'B' (denoting 'B' for Brisbane) privy mark will be the first ever issued.To identify the privy mark coins, the privy marks will consist of a letter or symbol with a square surround.Mintage 44,233
