2003 $1 Centenary of Women's Suffragette Uncirculated Coin in PackThe design of the $1 coin is based on a representation of the Dora Meeson suffrage banner 'Commonwealth of Australia: Trust the Women Mother As I Have Done', which is on display in Parliament House. The Banner was carried at the head of the Australian and New Zealand contingent of women suffragists in the Women's Suffrage Coronation Procession in London in 1911 and is widely recognized as a celebration of women's suffrage in Australia.Restricted to a mintage of 10 million, issued randomly around Australia, this coin has instantly disappeared from circulation. You might see it in your change, but it will not be pristine Unc as here. Mint state examples are already rising in value, with the wholesale price for an Unc Suffragette $1 jumping.Comparison with the Kingsford-Smith $1 is telling, with this unique 1997 coin (mintage 20 million) now valued at over A$20 in Unc (2003).Each coin is presented in a full-colour, informative pack.Denomination :        $1Finish :                    UncirculatedMetal :                     Aluminium BronzePlease note : Some toning will occur on the coins
