1985 Proof Set - 7 Coin.This is the first even coin proof set issued by The Royal Australian Mint.Notable features are the use of the new effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Raphael Maklouf and the inclusion of the dollar coin issued for the first time in 1984.The reverse designs, including the one dollar coin, were prepared by Stuart Devlin, C.M.G.Proof coins are struck from specially prepared blanks using highly polished and frosted dies.This set is in mint condition as issued by the Royal Australian Mint.The outer packaging has a few slight creases, but all in all great condition for age.
