2018 $1 Money Toad 1oz Silver Gilded CoinThe Chinese three-legged Money Toad, or Jin Chan, is believed to be a symbol of good luck and a famous feng shui charm that brings fortune and prosperity to the home.According to Feng Shui beliefs, Jin Chan symbolises the flow of money and helps attract and protect wealth, and guards against bad luck.The Money Toad is often depicted with a Chinese coin in its mouth sitting atop piles of coins or bullion with a scroll in front of it. The toad only has three legs and a flat, broad body and sometimes is depicted with red eyes and seven spots on its back symbolising the stars.Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Money Toad 2018 1oz Silver Gilded Coins.The reverse design features a money toad gilded in 24 carat gold sitting on a pile of ancient Chinese coins with coins in its mouth.
